Why is Neymar Easy to Get Injured?

SoccerArenaTrends - Not yet two months recovering from a long injury, Neymar has to return to the treatment room.  Why is the Brazilian National Team star from Paris Saint Germain often injured?

Neymar has been confirmed to miss the Brazilian national team at the Copa America.  The 27-year-old footballer suffered an ankle ligament injury while helping the Samba Team win 2-0 over Qatar in a friendly match.

The injury did not make Neymar go up the operating table.  But he had to rest for at least four weeks.

This ankle ligament injury occurs less than two months since Neymar comeback from a metatarsal injury.  The injury made the former Barcelona player absent for a total of 85 days.

Previously, in December and November 2018, he was sidelined for 25 days due to problems with the thigh muscles.

Why does Neymar seem to be easily injured?  According to the Brazilian national team doctor, Neymar was easily injured because of his playing style on the field.

"Broken metatarsals and ankle injuries have no direct connection, although both occur for the same reason, foot movements, on the ankles," said the Brazilian national team doctor, Dr.  Lasmar.

"In the first instance it resulted in a broken fifth metatarsal and tearing two ankle ligaments. Now, for the same reason, which causes two ankle ligament tears, due to the style of play."

"He was violated, tried to protect himself, avoided being violated, it made his legs spin and he forced too much. This time nothing happened to the metatarsal, but he had torn ligaments," continued Dr.  Lasmar was quoted from the US.
